January 28, 2012:

Operation Sussex had it’s first film festival screening today as part of the 7th Annual Cinema On the Bayou. We were very fortunate to be one of 28 films chosen out of over 300 submissions and very fortunate to be in the company of such wonderful films and filmmakers.

Aug. 29, 2011:

AP, in partnership with Shooting Stars Productions, is in pre production with a documentary tentatively titled “The Howard Johnson Sniper”.

July 20, 2011:

Future “Operation Sussex” screenings are to be held in Strasbourg, Paris and London (possibly as early as this fall) and are in the preliminary planning stage.

June. 26, 2011:

AP held a well received private screening of “Operation Sussex” in Lafayette, LA today for approximately 75 people.

Alliance ProductionsAlliance Productions, Inc. is a Louisiana documentary production company established and headed by Bonnie Friedman. Bonnie spent several years working in the production offices of major feature films before diving into documentaries. Those films included: The Pelican Brief, The Client, Interview With The Vampire and Dead Man Walking among others. It was this experience that propelled Bonnie into her true passion of making documentaries beginning with a project about the French Resistance.

The mission of Alliance Productions is to partner with other equally passionate and creative production companies to create thoughtful, insightful and interesting non fiction films.

FILMS

Operation Sussex is a 53 minute documentary filmed entirely on location in France and England. It is the story of a relatively unknown WWII top secret spy mission involving a French Resistance network created by the Allies. 120 french men and women volunteered for this daredevil mission, jumping into France to gather and supply valuable information about German activity leading up to D-Day and beyond.
